Hi fellow users, it is clear to me and family that the sleep and energy algorithms in Health app have been modified. In the last week or two we have noticed a number of negative changes.
The average shaded area for what others normally have has gone.
In addition the deep sleep analysis results is no longer consistent with previous values showing higher values which in my seventies is unlikely. So I updated phone and watch s/w and now things have got worse. My watch has only used a short section of my overall sleep to calculate scores ignoring the 6 hrs after a bathroom break resulting in the app now being useless. Any one else experiencing similar issues

Hello buddy your nit imagining it there have been changes but there is as always no Samsung changelog, for me its for the better, but others pointed out sleep cycles was no more in favour of another metric.

I'm going with the flow on this as Samsung links it back to The Sleep Foundation 😴

OK thanks for responding. I'll look up how to do that. Does the watch and phone cache need clearing.

Try this just follow it carefully lest you just keep restarting or accidentally reset the watch
